What is JVD Scholarship?
JVD scholarship is a post matric scholarship scheme for student studying in Andhra Pradesh which has two main parts:
Jagananna Vidya Deevena (JVD / RTF)
- Full fee reimbursement for tuition.
- Amount is directly paid to the college.
Jagananna Vasathi Deevena (MTF)
- ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 per year for hostel and food expenses.
- Money is credited directly to the mother’s or guardian’s bank account.
Important Note: The students studying in ITI, Polytechnic, Degree, PG, Engineering, Medicine, and other professional courses will get the benefits.

Who is Eligible?
There are some eligibility requirements to get the benefits of JVD scholarship.
- Applicant must be president of Andhra Pradesh.
- Your family income should be less than 2.5 lakh Per Year.
- Your parents should not on more than 10 acres of of wet land or 25 acres of dry land.
- Your parents must be Government employees.
- Candidate should have maintain 75% attendance.

How to Apply for JVD Scholarship?
Here is a application process:
For fresh application:
- First of all you need to collect Application form from your college.
- In application form provide all the record details.
- Submit your application to the college principal.
- Your college will upload the details on Jnanabhumi portal.
- Then go to the nearest MeeSeva center for biometric verification.
- After that you need to wait for approval.
For Renewals:
- If you want to apply for a renewal then we’re college will update your continuation detail at the portal.
- Then you will get SMS from Jnanabhumi portal.
- Go to MeeSeva and complete biometric verification again.
- Now your renewal application has submitted successfully.
How to Check JVD Scholarship Status?
If you want to check your current status for JVD scholarship, follow the below mention steps.
- First of all Visit the Jnanabhumi Portal. i.e. https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in.
- On the homepage you need to select login option.
- Login with the help of Aadhar number / Student ID and password.
- Then go to the application status option.

How is the Money Transferred?
The money will be transferred through directly:
- Tuition Fee (RTF): Directly transferred to your college.
- Maintenance Fee (MTF): Transferred to your mother’s or guardian’s bank account.
- You will receive an SMS update when the amount is deposited.
Latest Update 2025:
If we talk about latest updates in June or July month government has started leasing pending amount from 2024 and earlier. There are many students who were in pending or not sanctioned list have no received the approval.
- The sanction letters have sent to your college.
- Also information will be shared on your mobile number with SMS alert of front release.
