• This is KEM is also named as Open Merit Scholarship for EBC Students.

Who Can Apply? – Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be permanent resident of Maharashtra state.
• Candidate belong to Economically Backward Class (EBC) category.
• The family income should be less than 8 Lakh per year.
• Candidate must be studying in government aided or government, private colleges/school that are approved by the government.
• Candidate must get admission through centralised admission process.
• You must have passed Class 10 (SSC) exam with at least 50% marks (if income is above ₹2.5 lakh).
• If your income is below ₹2.5 lakh, no minimum marks are required.

How to apply online for EBC Scholarship 2025 Last Date?

There are some simple steps that you need to follow in order to submit your application form:

• First of all candidate needs to visit the official website i.e. https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in.
• On the home page you need to select new applicant registration.
• Complete your registration and create username and password.
• Login with the help of username and password.
• Complete your profile and educational details.
• Select “EBC Scholarship” from the list of schemes.
• Complete your application.
• Upload the necessary documents.
• At last you need to submit the application form.

Application Renewal:

In order to renew your application form follow the below mentioned steps:

• First of all the need to login into your account.
• Use same user id and password.
• Then you need to upload your new marksheet and income certificate.
• Then submit your application for renewal.
